The Korean War memorial in D.C. is a reminder that Freedom is not free, as are the Vietnam and WWII memorials. 

This photo was provided to us by Trish Schaffer. Her grandfather was retired Air Force/Army Air Corp and a charter member of the VFW post in Ozark. Her husband is also a former Marine.

We are dedicated to obtaining the benefits promised to us by our recruiters, first sergeants, company commanders and our elected officials, They all promised if we would serve our country for a minimum of twenty years, we would received medical and dental benefits for us and our families for life. We realized after the fact that only we had kept our end of the bargain.
